Local Utility Services
Water and sewer services are provided by the Town of Gila Bend. To connect service, you will need to fill out the Application for Service. This is a fillable form and can be completed on your computer. Once you have completed the form, please sign and return it to our billing department at 644 West Pima Street, P.O. Box A, Gila Bend, AZ 85337. Or you can drop it off in person.
To Connect or Disconnect your service:

Bills go out at the first of each month, and the billing due date is the last day of each month. Shut-Off Notices go out the first Friday of every month for non-payment. If you receive a Shut-Off Notice, promptly call (928) 683-2255.
Electric service is provided by Arizona Public Service (APS).

Starting Service
It's best to provide at least three working days notice (Monday-Friday) for starting service.A $25 plus tax service establishment charge will appear on your first bill.We may ask you to pay a deposit.After you complete your request, we will send you a confirmation email, which will include your order details.
Stopping Service
Schedule stop service to make sure you are not responsible for the bills after your move out date.It is best to provide at least three working days notice (Monday-Friday) for stopping service.There is no fee for stopping service.After you submit your request, we will send you a confirmation email, which will include your order details.If someone is moving in to your home, they will need to contact us to put service into their name.You can schedule a shut off to make sure you are not responsible for the bills after your move out date.You can request a letter of credit to provide to your new utility company.
Transferring Service

If someone is moving in to your home, they will need to contact us to put service into their name.

The Town of Gila Bend has a contract with Waste Management for business and residential sanitation and recycling services.
Residential Pickup
Waste Management can remove just about any kind of waste and offers a wide variety of curbside residential pickup services, making it easy for customers to discard waste and recycle from home.Town of Gila Bend Residential Dump Facility (beginning April 1, 2019, proof of residency will be required to use facility)
BULK and Yard waste Pickup service is NOT available. Residents that are customers of Waste Management may responsibly dispose of their yard waste, up to 4 tires (per year), and appliances (emptied of Freon) at the Town's Residential Dump Facility. Household trash CANNOT be disposed of at this site. Please call (928) 683-2255 for information about dumping at our Residential Dump Facility.
Hours of Operation for the Residential Dump Facility:
Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (Summer Hours)
